I’ll be a Namibian President, not serving the interests of only one party,
tribe, or race.

In order to bring about change in livelihood, education, administration,
and minority rights.

DTA

Because I have the necessary education and political experience to
guide Namibia as a country,
that wishes to fulfil its national and international role and obligations.

I have the best interests of ALL Namibians at heart and am firmly opposed to corruption and favours for family members, friends and members of a particular ethnic group.

MAG

I would like to be fair to all Namibians and especially to the minority groups; National priorities will need much attention but we will also speak for groups who are presently discriminated against

We would spend  the budget wisely and instead of using the money for prestige  projects,  we will create jobs and spend a bigger portion on community and social development.

MAG will try to improve the Constitution by changing the secular character;
and implement Affirmative Action in a fair way.

School principals and teachers will receive a realistic salary, support in the classroom but will be held accountable.

Biblical Studies will be re-instated in all schools.

Namibia DMC

Because our slogan under our emblem states; ”THE LORD IS OUR ROCK”,
hence as a God fearing party and in an age where many leaders do not ask
for guidance from the Almighty, I will be in a better position to lead our Nation towards prosperity for all, putting God first above anything else.

NDP

As leader of NDP I am fighting for the poor people and the voiceless in order to be given a platform in the National Assembly, to put the people’s needs to the Parliament.

I will establish an Employment Creation Ministry which will take the initiative to create sustainable development projects in every town in Namibia in order to create the much needed employment and thereby keeping the breadwinners as close to their families as possible.

Eradicate corruption with a truly Independent anti-corruption body and will ensure that those found guilty of corruption receive extremely stiff sentences.

I will have all the relevant laws amended in order for rapists of children under the age of 10 to be sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole and rapists of children older than 10 as well as those raping women, to be sentenced to 25 years imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

I change the entire Education System firstly to ensure that our education system be based on Christian principles with Christian Science and daily devotion as a compulsory subject for all Christians and secondly to ensure that our learners will be disciplined and be taught that one will only become an achiever if you work hard – no more automatic promotions. Government will subsidize those who cannot afford school fees.

I will influence Parliament to change the Constitution in order for the President to be able to appoint the executive (Ministers and their deputies) from outside Parliament if he so wish in order to appoint the best possible persons for the job.

I will introduce housing schemes whereby all Namibians will be able to acquire a house.

I will influence Parliament to raise pensions to N$ 1,500 per month to enable pensioners to sustain a decent standard of living.

SWANU

I participated in the liberation struggle. I started educating the youth. Pre-Independence, I lobbied for land rights, exposing the hardships and discrimination faced by minorities.

DTA

I, alone among all the opposition parties in parliament have persuaded the ruling party to increase the pension for the elderly to the amount they are now receiving and have made it my task to continue to work for a further increase;

I use my position in parliament to lobby and speak for the disadvantaged and can honestly say that it was through my efforts that the government agreed to allow failed Grade 10 learners to return to school at the beginning of this year.

I also persuaded Government to again allow our farmers to export wieners on the hoof to SA after this was banned by the Ministry of Agriculture.

I further lobbied successfully to have the San people buried in coffins provided by Government, instead of in black plastic bags, as was the government’s policy after Independence.

These things are more than any other opposition party can claim to have done over the years since Independence.

MAG

I have introduced at least 8 motions which was in National interest and was discussed.   One of the motions dealt with the need for Biblical studies in schools and one was aimed on the unfairness of Affirmative Action for those learners who attended school for the first time after the Independence of Namibia.

Namibia DMC

In 2004 up to now having realized that the San Community remains one of the most vulnerable members of our society I HAVE UNDERTAKEN to buy them Coffins to bury them out of my own pockets, as well as having established a fund that caters for their daily needs in the Omaheke Region

NDP

Since I became a young man I started working as a policeman and served in all 13 regions of Namibia,

I also served as an acting Prosecutor.
I also served as peace-keeper in foreign Countries under the United Nations.
I am a Christian spreading the word of God through preaching.

Since I became a politician I am focusing on rooting out oppression and all evil
factors in Namibia and the world at large.

Travelled across Namibia in order to spread the message of the Republican Party for people to reconcile and not to lose hope because of the atrocious circumstances under which most of our people live, but to remain faithful as Christians, because we believe God is going to bring about change for the benefit of His children which are the majority of Namibians.

Had numerous meetings with President Pohamba as well as his Ministers in order to request them to act on certain issues of serious concern like:  to find ways and means to have the Caprivians who are in prison for 10 years without being sentenced, released to conduct a forensic audit into the affairs of Air Namibia and the Department of Civil Aviation, because of the fact that the lives of hundreds of passengers are constantly in danger due to some incompetent “Affirmative Action” pilots.

SWANU

Generally:
Political engagement in SWANU for the political freedom of the Namibian people, for fair redistribution of its resources and wealth (Give the land back to the people!) since 1978.

Professional work as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance for more than ten years and then as lecturer of Economy at UNAM.

Specifically:
As the President of SWANU (from Sept. 2007 onwards) I managed to get a place at a resettlement farm to stay for the people of Otjiku who stayed for four years in a corridor between farms without any means.
See full report www.swanu.org, news.

As the President of SWANU I studied the condition of the people in Gam thoroughly and am engaged to address their destitute condition with the respective ministries. See full report www.swanu.org, news.

My passion is to ensure:

  • better living conditions for the poor and the destitute,

  • that justice will prevail at all time,

  • that the peoples of Namibia be reconciled, not only the different ethnic groups, but also the previously advantaged with the previously     disadvantaged.

  • that Christians will become involved in politics. We Christians have been given the responsibility to rule over the affairs of God’s world and must therefore accept the responsibility and ensure that it is being done in away that He would have done it.

My insatiable love for humanity drives me. It is why I remain a politician.

MAG

I am part of a minority group and the smallest party in Parliament but I am convinced that God has also a task for me on earth.  I can play a role to rectify the wrongs of the past.

Namibia DMC

I see so much suffering amongst ordinary citizens, while this country has abundant resources, In fact no Namibian should be poor considering, the national resources we are blessed with. If I CAN MAKE A Difference how small it might be in someone else life then I will go to sleep knowing that I HAVE DONE MY PART.

NDP

Since 1990, Namibia’s Independence, I watched and observed that most Namibians are not enjoying and benefitting from the fruits of Independence of Namibia, as a result what has grown is oppression, discrimination, tribalism, nepotism, divide and rule fractions and many more.

I know that that this is where God want me now and I trust to help build a better Namibia for our children. I know that there are solutions to all Namibia’s problems, but then we must strive to be in a position of authority from where we can influence the decision making process.
